Overview:

The Department of Physics at RWU currently offers 4 years BS program and 2 years M. Phil. in Physics to women. The curriculum is designed to provide students with up-to-date training in foundational physical science as well as a range of areas of specialties. The Department of Physics at RWU is making strides toward becoming one of the premier Physics departments in the region. We have developed active research groups in experimental condensed matter, theoretical condensed matter, computational Physics and theoretical plasma physics. Our faculty includes internationally as well as locally trained PhDs who are well-versed in their areas of specialization. Our graduate students will participate in cutting-edge research that will prepare them for successful careers in a wide variety of fields belonging to pure and applied Physics.
