Rawalpindi Women University has always been striving hard to meet the prospects of its users. However, there has been needed to bring clarity and uniformity in procedures and practices of the library so as to further improve its competence, effectiveness, services and productivity. For that very reason library must have an operational Policy where all rules, regulations, procedures are clearly spelt out. An initial draft of the “Policy” has been prepared by consulting similar documents of the country renowned libraries of various universities.

Services:
Book Borrowing Service
All documented users are entitled to borrow books and other materials according to the RWU Library Policy. Please inquire at the Circulation Desk for your eligibility. To borrow books, please present your RWU – Library Card at the Circulation Desk.
Reference Service
An active help desk provide efficient and reliable service under the supervision of professional librarians.
Searching Support
In case an item is not located on the shelf, inquiry can be made at the Circulation Desk. A search will, then be initiated and the user will be informed, when the required item is found.
Literacy programs
Library Offer free literacy programs to help patrons.

Welcome to the Rawalpindi Women University Library. The Library’s website is our gateway to our resources and services. The library website aims to provide a brief introduction to the facilities and services provided by the library, library operating hours and other basic information pertaining to the library. The primary objective of library is to implement, enrich, and support the educational programs of Rawalpindi Women University.
The Library is the backbone of the research and development activities of Rawalpindi Women University. The use of library resources is vital for pursuing study and research.
