Overview:
The Planning & Development (P&D) Department serves as the University’s strategic planning and development hub. The department is responsible for formulating development policies, identifying institutional needs, preparing development projects, and coordinating with funding agencies, government departments, and regulatory bodies to secure resources for the University’s growth.
It is my Immense pleasure to be part of Rawalpindi Women University, since the inception of P&D Department. I have an aim to provide excellence in the field of Planning & Development. In accordance with this aim, I and my team have set standards for achieving ultimate excellence in our field. Department of P&D will make its best efforts for the betterment of students in providing exclusive infrastructure facilities in the university.
Services:
- Identification of feasible projects for academic, physical growth and expansion of the university.
- Preparation, execution & monitoring of development plans and PC-I/project documents for identified projects and schemes.
- Pursue the development grant proposals with government concerned agencies, i.e., Higher Education Department, Lahore, Planning & Development Department, Lahore, HEC and Planning Commission, Islamabad.
- Performing the duties of Estate Office.
