Eligibility criteria for MS/Mphil - Rawalpindi Women University

FACULTY OF SCIENCE (MPhil Programs) (Pre-requisite degree required to take admission in MPhil Programs)
Chemistry	• At least sixteen years of education or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject or 4 years education after Intermediate or Equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 (Semester System) or minimum 50% marks in the annual examination system or 55% marks in Semester system where CGPA is not mentioned.
	• NTS/GAT test with 50% score or university admission test with a minimum of 50% score is required to qualify the Departmental subject wise test.
Mathematics	• At least sixteen years of education or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject or 4 years education after Intermediate or Equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 (Semester System) or minimum 50% marks in the annual examination system or 55% marks in Semester system where CGPA is not mentioned.
	• NTS/GAT test with 50% score or university admission test with a minimum of 50% score is required to qualify the Departmental subject wise test.
Physics	• At least sixteen years of education or equivalent qualification in Physics/Applied Physics or 4 years education after Intermediate or Equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 (Semester System) or minimum 50% marks in the annual examination system or 55% marks in Semester system where CGPA is not mentioned.
	• NTS/GAT test with 50% score or university admission test with a minimum of 50% score is required to qualify the Departmental subject wise test.
Statistics	At least Sixteen years of education in Statistics / Mathematics with minimum CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.00 (semester system) or minimum 50% marks in the annual examination system or 55% marks in the semester system examination where CGPA is not mentioned at terminal degree.
	NTS/GAT test with 50% score or university admission test with a minimum of 50% score is required to qualify the Departmental subject wise test.
Zoology	• At least sixteen years of education in Zoology, Animal Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Biological Sciences & Bio Sciences or 4 years education after Intermediate or Equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 (Semester System) or minimum 50% marks in the annual examination system or 55% marks in Semester system where CGPA is not mentioned.

2) FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
MS Management Sciences	BBA/B.Com/M.Com/BS (Accounts & Finance) BS (Economics & Finance) MBA /MPA or Equivalent 16 years of business education with minimum of 2.0 (out of 4.0 CGPA) in semester system and 50% marks in annual system
	NTS/GAT test with 50% score or university admission test with a minimum of 50% score is required to qualify the Departmental subject wise test.
Media & Communication Studies	At least sixteen years of education or equivalent qualification in Media Studies/Mass Communication/ Communication Studies/Media and Communication Studies/International Relation/ Political Science/ Film studies/Film Production/ Broadcasting/Computer Arts/Peace and Conflict studies or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 (Semester System) or minimum 50% marks in the annual examination system or 55% marks in Semester system where CGPA is not mentioned.
