Overview:
P&D is the backbone of the university and plays a vital role in its growth, development and achieving the strategic objective for delivering the quality education. It was established with the inception of university in 2019 as per guidelines of HEC. To promote integrated planning & infrastructure development processes and activities for facilitating the academia according to modern standards of education.

To promote integrated planning & development processes and activities for facilitating the academia of the University according to modern standards of education.
Mission:
To coordinate, facilitate and monitor implementation of integrated Planning & development processes and activities of the University.
Services:
- Identification of feasible projects for academic, physical growth and expansion of the university.
- Preparation, execution & monitoring of development plans and PC-I/project documents for identified projects and schemes.
- Pursue the development grant proposals with government concerned agencies, i.e., Higher Education Department, Lahore, Planning & Development Department, Lahore, HEC and Planning Commission, Islamabad.
- Performing the duties of Estate Office.

It is my Immense pleasure to be part of Rawalpindi Women University, since the inception of P&D Department. I have an aim to provide excellence in the field of Planning & Development. In accordance with this aim, I and my team have set standards for achieving ultimate excellence in our field.
