ย A training/workshop session was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell, Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi for the faculty development. The session was on the topic “Elevating Education: Quality Assurance in Modern Teaching Philosophy and Advanced Thinking” which involved discussion and hands-on training on the evolving educational landscape and ensuring high standards of education as aย  paramount. This session delved into the imperative for quality assurance, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, and fostering innovation in teaching methodologies. Dr. Afshan Huma, Head of the Department of Educational Planning Policy Studies and Leadership at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, a renowned expert in the field led these insightful sessions. Dr. Baqir Husnain, Director QEC/EL, welcomed the guests to RWU and also added his insights to this session. Dr. Baqir briefed the faculty with the importance of these training sessions, why the session was essential for the capacity building of the faculty and how the training modules were specially designed keeping in mind the needs of faculty and the interest of the Vice Chancellor. The session aimed to empower our faculty members with advanced thinking skills, equipping them to integrate cutting-edge educational philosophies into their practices. The ultimate goal was to overall elevate the quality of education at RWU! The faculty members wholeheartedly embraced the sessions, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of RWU’s academic community.
