The External Linkages Department in collaboration with the U.S. Mission to Pakistan organized a seminar on February 17, 2023 on “Global Engagement and Opportunities for Scholarships and Exchange Programs” for the students, faculty, and administration. The seminar was organized to provide valuable information to potential exchange students of RWU who are interested in studying abroad or pursuing scholarship opportunities offered by the US Mission to Pakistan.
The invitees from the U.S. Embassy included Ms. Farah Chery-Medor, Country Cultural Attaché; Mr. Sharif Sabir, Director of Educational Affairs; and Mr. Juan German, Public Diplomacy Officer. Prof. Dr. Anila Kamal, Vice Chancellor, RWU greeted the mission and welcomed them. Dr. Baqir Husnain and Ms. Iraj Munawar Gill from External Linkages Department and Dr. Shagufta Nighat, focal person of this linkage, joined VC to discuss the topics of mutual interests with the mission. At this occasion Souvenirs were presented to the guests. The Mission also presented VC with a BestSeller book of Psychology from the U.S Embassy as a gesture of goodwill. The overall experience was well received by all.
