The Department of Sociology hosted a seminar titled “The Impact of Mainstream Media on Society and Culture,” featuring Dr. Majid Ali Shah, Head of Media Science, Iqra University Islamabad as the guest speaker.
Dr. Majid delivered a comprehensive lecture on the positive and negative impacts of media on society and culture. He mentioned that the media is an important agency of socialization which cannot be overlooked. The event was well-attended by students from various departments.
