Biography:
Ms. Shumaila Mazhar is highly motivated, goal-driven and dedicated educator who believes in personal and professional development of the students. She has 11 years of vast experience of serving in 2 different public Universities.
Ms. Shumaila Mazhar has joined Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) as a Lecturer at Department of Fine Arts in May, 2022. She obtained her Masters of Philosophy in Multimedia Arts with distinction from School of Art, Design & Architecture, University of Gujrat. She has completed her Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design from School of Art, Design & Architecture, University of Gujrat, Pakistan.
Before joining RWU, she has served for three years as a visiting faculty and seven years teaching experience at Department of Design, University of Gujrat. Moreover, she has also worked as Departmental Coordinator for 4 year at SADA, UOG. Her research interests on different types of design’s software. Having diverse experience of teaching, research and field, she has a major focus on providing practical exposure to her students to make them innovative part of the Art & Design.
