Dr. Rabea Ejaz

Biography:

Dr. Rabea Ejaz has joined Department of Zoology, Rawalpindi Women University, as Assistant Professor on August, 2022. She is an HEC approved supervisor. After completing her doctorate degree in Zoology from PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi in 2015 on HEC Indigenous Scholarship Program, she started her career as a Research Associate in a PSF funded project for three years at the same university. Later, she joined Women University Swabi as an Assistant Professor for a brief period and then moved on to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar to serve as an Assistant Professor. During her 6 years stay at SBBWU Peshawar; other than fulfilling her primary responsibilities of teaching and research; she additionally served as In-charge of the department for almost five years. She also served as member for IPE, BOS, BOF, SAR, Curriculum Development Committee for Associate Degree, Examination Disciplinary Committee and Graduate Studies Committee of the university. She supervised 78 M.Sc/BS students. She won “Best Performance Award” and “Best University Researcher Award” in year 2019 and 2020 respectively while serving at SBBWU Peshawar. Her research work encompasses 33 research articles in different national and international journals of repute as well as 51 proceedings in different national and international conferences. She has been awarded with 7 HEC funded projects and organized/participated in 36 different training workshops, seminars and conferences.
