The Directorate of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Punjab Higher Education Commission, organized a seminar titled ‘Laws of Blasphemy and Our Social Responsibilities’ on May 8, 2024. The seminar aimed to educate attendees about blasphemy laws and their implications on social responsibilities, particularly in the context of social media usage.  

Dr. Rana Tanveer Qasim, Director (Coordination) at PHEC, served as the resource person for the seminar. Dr. Tanveer provided a comprehensive overview of blasphemy laws, emphasizing their legal framework and historical context. He shed light on the sensitivity surrounding issues of blasphemy and the legal consequences of violating these laws.
