“A productive meeting was held at Khana Farhang(Iran Cultural Center), Rawalpindi, where Rawalpindi Women University representatives engaged with Dr. Mehdi Taheri, Director General of the Iranian Cultural Center and Cultural Attaché of the Iranian Embassy in Pakistan.
The RWU delegation included Dr. Baqir Husnain (Director QEC & External Linkages), Ms. Iraj Munawar Gill (Assistant Director External Linkages), and Fine Arts lecturers Ms. Sehrish Jamil and Ms. Nabiha Muzaffar.
The discussions revolved around fostering cultural and educational collaborations, with a particular focus on art as a bridge to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of both Pakistan and Iran. Plans are in the pipeline to develop initiatives that integrate art and cultural exchange programs, enabling students and faculty of RWU to learn, create, and showcase their work on an international platform. This partnership is set to inspire innovation, mutual understanding, and deeper cultural ties between the two countries.”
