Rawalpindi Women University in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission hosted the Prime Minister’s Youth Sports Talent Hunt Judo Women Provincial League on May 09-11, 2024. The chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony, Member National Assembly, Mr. Anjum Aqeel, emphasized the importance of technology and education, announcing government plans to provide laptops to students. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anila Kamal praised the participants and reiterated the university’s commitment to empowering women through education and sports. Five regional teams from Gilgit, Skardu, Muzafarabad, Mirpur, and Islamabad participated in the event. Students demonstrated their impressive throwing techniques of Judo, showcasing their skills and talent. The chief guest, Prof. Dr. Sobia Masood, Chairperson Department of Psychology, graced the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the winning teams. Congratulations to the winners: The Gilgit Team stood first, the Islamabad Team secured second position, and the Muzafarabad Team came third.
