It’s a Public Sector University.
Is the university recognized by HEC or by The Government of Pakistan
Yes, University is recognized by HEC.
What is the System of education?
Semester System.
Can I get Admission in F.A/ F.Sc?
No
Are there any evening Programs at RWU
No
I had withdrawn from BS program at RWU, can I apply again for BS admission?
Yes, you can apply for BS admission subject to fulfillment of all admission criteria.
Can I apply for BS admission at RWU manually?
No you cannot apply manually. Only online applications are accepted.
Can I apply for BS/MS/MPhil admission at RWU manually?
No you cannot apply manually. Only online applications are accepted.
How many times admission in BS/MS/Mphil Programs at RWU are offered?
Admissions in BS Programs are offered once a year, specifically for the Fall Semester. In contrast, MS/MPhil admissions may be offered twice a year, in both the Fall and Spring Semesters.
Can I apply in more than one programs?
Yes you can apply for more than one program but you will have to pay the application processing fees additionally.
Can I apply for admission after due date of submission of admission form?
No, you cannot apply after last date of online applications. The last date for application is 26th August, 2024.
How I can apply and which documents are required to be attached with admission form
- Fill online application form on the website https://old.rwu.edu.pk
- Pay non-refundable admission processing BS program fee within the stipulated time according to following:
- Rs. 1500/- (if she applies for one subject in a faculty)
- Rs. 1700/- (if she applies for two subjects in a faculty)
- Rs. 1900/- (if she applies for three subjects in a faculty)
- Pay non-refundable admission processing MS/Mphil program fee within the stipulated time according to following:
- Rs. 2000/- (if she applies for one subject in a faculty)
- Rs. 2200/- (if she applies for two subjects in a faculty)
- Rs. 2400/- (if she applies for three subjects in a faculty)
- upload passport size photograph (with blue background)
- Attach all relevant educational documents
Can I make changes to my application?
Candidates are not allowed to make any type of changes once the online admission form is submitted.
Where can I pay my application processing fee?
Submit application processing fee through Bank of Punjab A/C No. 6510202804100015.
Where Admission Form can be submitted?
No Need to submit a hard copy of the Admission Form.
How many program choices can I apply on one form?
Maximum three program options in the order of priority.
My result is awaited, can I still apply for?
Yes, you can apply.
Can I apply on the basis of O/A-level degree?
Yes, you can apply , however an equivalence certificate for O/A Level is required from IBCC.
Is there any entry test?
No, there is no entry test for BS programs only, except BS Fine Arts will have a qualifying interview along with artwork. MPhil/ MS programs have entry test requirements.

When do the classes begin
Fall-2024 Semester Starts on 23rd September, 2024.
Does University entertain transfer/Migration Case?
Yes. (as per RWU Migration Policy given on the website).
What is the duration of Undergraduate Programs?
Undergraduate programs have (8 regular semesters).

Do I need to have an interview as part of the admission process?
No, there is no interview except Qualifying Interview for Fine arts students only along with their any artwork. For MS/MPhil programs you must clear the interview.
Is Application Processing fee refundable?
No
Do you provide hostel facility?
Yes on first come first serve basis only and on merit list calculation.
Does this University provide transport?
Yes within Rawalpindi only.
Can I apply both on open merit and self finance seats?
Kindly note that candidates need to submit two separate online application forms with two different email I.Ds applying for both categories i:e (open merit or self finance seats).
