“RWU organized one-day workshop on Curriculum Redesign for Sustainability”

” QEC, RWU has organized a one-day workshop on Curriculum Redesign for Sustainability for the QEC and curriculum coordinators on November 5, 2024. Ms. Ambreen Asif Qureshi was invited as the resource person. Ms. Qureshi is a Cambridge-accredited Master Trainer and the founder of IntellAct Consultant.

During the curriculum redesign workshop, the resource person emphasized aligning Outcome-Based Education (OBE) with measurable learning outcomes and integrating sustainability by linking Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants actively engaged in the discussion, sharing ideas on how to embed SDGs into diverse academic disciplines. They explored ways to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills while ensuring curricula remained relevant and outcome-driven. This approach aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to address global challenges. Ultimately, the goal is to prepare graduates who can contribute effectively to a sustainable future.

Dr. Baqir Husnain, Director QEC, Rawalpindi Women University applauded the effort of the Resource Person and all of the participants for their enthusiasm and engagement during the session.”
