The Department of Sociology in the 3rd international conference of Social Sciences on “Contemporary World: Challenges and Transformations” focused on the key challenges and issues in contemporary world such as Eradication of Poverty, Social Determinants of Health, Gender-Sensitive Curriculum and Pedagogy, Inclusive and Quality Education for Girls, Gender- Based Violence, Women and Economic Empowerment, Inclusive Environment and Equal Opportunities and Women and Political Participation. The Keynote Speakers Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, and Dr. Taeko highlighted the pressing challenges and issues of the contemporary world and their impacts on society. A wide array of sociologists, social scientists, researchers, and scholars from across the country shared their research on pressing contemporary issues with students and fellow academics. The session chairs offered thoughtful feedback and expert commentary on each presentation, enriching the discussions. Dr. Raza Ullah, Chairperson of Sociology at Rawalpindi Women University, brought the sessions to a close, extending heartfelt thanks to the esteemed keynote speakers, session chairs, co-chairs, presenters, and participants for their valuable contributions and engagement throughout the event.
