The Department of Botany is actively engaged in a wide range of academic and co-curricular activities to enhance students learning research skills. Regular seminars, workshops, guest lectures and field visits are organized to enhance the academic and research capabilities of students and faculty. In addition students are encouraged to participate in presentations, research projects, and field based learning experiences that strengthen their understanding of plant sciences and environmental sustainability. One international conference is organized annually for exposure and participation of students towards research. Faculty of Botany emphasizes on research and scholarly publications and actively participates in national and international trainings to enhance their skills. Dr. Banzeer  Ahsan Abbasi  recognized  among the top 2% cited authors list. Dr. Yamin Bibi edited an international Book titled “Genus Bidens: Chemistry and Pharmacology” published by Springer, Nature in 2025. These initiatives, are significantly contributing to the advancement of botanical sciences and environmental awareness
